Top prospects to compete in Spring Breakout baseball event

Spring Breakout, a major event for baseball's top prospects, is set to showcase emerging talent from March 13-16. The full rosters will be finalized by March 6, but anticipation is already building around key matchups.

Among the most anticipated face-offs is between Marcelo Mayer of the Red Sox and Carson Williams of the Rays on March 13. Both are highly regarded shortstop prospects with differing skill sets.

Another notable matchup features Cade Horton of the Cubs against Dalton Rushing of the Dodgers. Horton's return from injury will be closely watched as he faces Rushing, known for his hitting prowess.

On March 14, Bubba Chandler of the Pirates and Andrew Painter of the Phillies will go head-to-head. Both pitchers are considered frontrunners for NL Rookie of the Year.

Colt Emerson of the Mariners and Travis Bazzana of the Guardians will also meet on March 14. They are among a select group with exceptional hitting grades.

Jasson Domínguez of the Yankees versus Coby Mayo of the Orioles on March 15 promises a display of potential AL Rookie of the Year contenders.

Sebastian Walcott and Bryce Eldridge, representing the Rangers and Giants respectively, bring significant power to their matchup on March 15.

Max Clark of the Tigers will face Cam Caminiti of the Braves on March 16 in what could be a significant test for both young talents.

Chase Dollander from the Rockies will challenge Noah Schultz from the White Sox later that day. Both pitchers are noted for their high-speed fastballs.

Finally, Chase Burns from the Reds will compete against Jesus Made from the Brewers on March 16, concluding a series of exciting prospect battles at Spring Breakout.
