Packers wide receiver Christian Watson will miss the rest of the season due to a non-contact knee injury sustained in a recent game against the Chicago Bears. Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur expressed his disappointment over the loss, stating, "Yeah, it's not good," and emphasizing Watson's versatility and unique attributes on the field. In 2024, Watson recorded 620 receiving yards and two touchdowns with an average of 21.4 yards per catch.

In other NFL news, Eagles Head Coach Nick Sirianni offered no new updates regarding quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is currently in concussion protocol. Sirianni maintained his previous statement: "I have no new information for you guys." The Eagles recently secured their 14th win of the season against the Giants.

Sirianni also addressed questions about backup quarterbacks Kenny Pickett and Tanner McKee. Pickett was sidelined with injured ribs, while McKee impressed in his first regular-season start. Sirianni commented on their performance by saying, "I've got a lot of confidence in both of the guys." He praised Executive Vice President/General Manager Howie Roseman and coaching staff for their work with the players.
