The Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers are set to face off in a Wild Card Round rematch on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field. The two teams first met during the 2024 season opener in São Paulo, Brazil, where the Eagles secured a 34-29 victory.

Reflecting on their journey since that initial game, center Cam Jurgens remarked, "It's do-or-die time. Win or go home." He added, "I feel like a lot of stuff has changed. I feel like it's been a year since we played them last in Brazil."

Despite changes over the past 16 games, both teams can still glean insights from their Week 1 matchup. Jurgens noted, "Oh yeah, for sure, just to see what we did, what worked, what didn't work and how much they've changed since then."

Following their opening win against Green Bay, the Eagles lost two of their next three games but found momentum later in the season. They achieved a franchise-record ten consecutive wins after their bye week. Meanwhile, the Packers rebounded by winning four straight games and seven of their next eight.

Head Coach Nick Sirianni acknowledged that both teams have evolved throughout the season: "Everyone's a different team... Schemes, you start to get used to what you're good at." He praised Green Bay as "a really well-coached, fundamentally sound football team with a lot of really good football players."

Defensive tackle Jordan Davis emphasized maintaining focus: "We know what they're about... But at the end of the day, it's a playoff mindset." He stressed that they must be prepared for any surprises from Green Bay.

As they enter postseason play, Coach Sirianni reiterated his commitment to consistency: "The higher the stakes get...the more you've got to stay committed to the things you've done on a daily basis." He urged his team to stick with principles that led them to become NFC East champions and secure the number two seed.
