Philadelphia Union II secured a dominant victory against Atlanta United 2 on Thursday night, winning 5-1 at Subaru Park. Forward Stas Korzeniowski opened the scoring in the 21st minute with his first professional goal. Defender Neil Pierre added another with a header during first-half stoppage time.
Midfielder CJ Olney increased the lead to 3-0 in the 70th minute. Shortly after, Kellan LeBlanc drew a penalty, which Nick Pariano converted, marking the fourth goal. LeBlanc himself scored the fifth goal one minute later. Atlanta's Javier Armas successfully converted a penalty to score the team's only goal in the 86th minute.
The match also saw a few disciplinary actions, including Dom Chong Qui from Atlanta United 2 receiving two yellow cards, resulting in an ejection.
Philadelphia Union II will face NYCFC II on Wednesday, April 23, at Belson Stadium.
