Philadelphia Union has signed Frankie Westfield to a short-term agreement, making him available for the match against New England Revolution. This marks Westfield's third call-up this season, following starts against Orlando City SC and FC Cincinnati.
According to the 2025 MLS Roster Rules and Regulations, off-roster Homegrown Players can only participate in MLS League Season competitions as short-term call-ups. They are allowed up to six appearances per season under this arrangement. Eligible players must be 21 years old or younger during the calendar year and may continue as Off-Roster Homegrowns if they remain on their initial MLS contract.
