The Philadelphia Flyers are set to host the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday evening at the Wells Fargo Center. The game, part of a five-game homestand for the Flyers, will begin at 7:00 p.m. EST and be broadcasted on NBCSP and 93.3 WMMR with an online simulcast available on Flyers Radio 24/7.

In their previous encounter, the Flyers secured a narrow 2-1 shootout victory over the Jets in Winnipeg. However, their recent momentum was halted by a 6-3 loss to the Calgary Flames. The Jets have also faced challenges, remaining winless in their last three games following a setback against the New York Islanders.

Flyers head coach John Tortorella emphasized the need for stability and momentum as his team prepares to face Scott Arniel's Jets again. "Philly will once again need to exhibit strong structure and execution," he noted, highlighting areas where his team must remain vigilant.

Travis Konecny remains a focal point for the Flyers' offense despite recent struggles. He leads the team with 63 points but has encountered difficulties finding consistency in recent games. Tortorella stressed that it's crucial for Konecny to make an offensive impact against Winnipeg.

Goaltending will also play a significant role in Thursday's matchup. Samuel Ersson is expected to start after experiencing some challenges recently. Ivan Fedotov had previously performed well against Connor Hellebuyck of the Jets during their last meeting.

Special teams could be decisive as well, with both teams having strengths and weaknesses in this area. The Flyers aim to capitalize on power-play opportunities while being cautious of Winnipeg's potent power play unit.

As players prepare for potential roster changes ahead of Friday's NHL trade deadline, maintaining unity and focus remains essential for both teams.
