Another milestone was reached during the 2025 home opener for Philadelphia Union against FC Cincinnati. In the 69th minute, with a score of 3-1 in favor of the Union, Head Coach Bradley Carnell introduced Bruno Damiani to the match. The substitution aimed to maintain pressure on the visiting team from Ohio.

Bruno Damiani, a 22-year-old player from Uruguay, made his debut by replacing Mikael Uhre. Within just 30 seconds on the field, Damiani attempted his first shot at goal as Philadelphia Union continued their unbeaten streak in 2025.

Damiani joined Philadelphia Union on February 18, 2025. The transfer involved a record-breaking fee paid to Uruguayan Primera Division club Nacional.
