On February 1st, the Philadelphia Union Youth hosted the inaugural Player Pathway Program (PPP) Club Friendlies. The event featured pre-academy clubs from Philadelphia Union, NY Red Bulls, and NYCFC. Young talents born between 2011 and 2016 participated in a series of round-robin matches.

The event highlighted the unique playstyles and skills of young players from the three MLS regions. Players from the participating clubs also had opportunities to interact after the games, enhancing their experience.

"We wanted to host a collaborative event that showcased the strength of all of our programs," said Jason Schwartz, Head Coach of Philadelphia Union PPP. "We were able to bring together three great programs that have had a massive impact on youth soccer in the community. We hope that we can have these again and continue our collaborative relationship with Red Bull and NYCFC."

The PPP Club Friendlies have strengthened relationships between these MLS clubs. As Philadelphia Union's Player Pathway Program grows, such events will be crucial in developing future soccer stars. The success reflects the dedication of players, coaches, and organizers involved.
