The Philadelphia Eagles made significant moves during the 2022 NFL Draft that continue to impact their roster as they head into the 2025 season. Executive Vice President/General Manager Howie Roseman entered the draft with ten picks, including two in the first round, and left with five selections plus a top wide receiver, shaping the team's future.

Reflecting on the decisions made during that draft, Roseman shared, "It's interesting how many guys we ended up acquiring from that 2022 Draft. We already had four starters from that draft, and the A.J. (Brown) trade was a big part of that draft, too."

The draft saw the Eagles move up to pick Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Davis at 13th overall. They later traded their 18th and 101st picks to Tennessee for A.J. Brown, whom they signed to a four-year deal. Head Coach Nick Sirianni expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "To add two players like this is exciting. A.J. Brown is a proven receiver in this league... Adding Jordan to our defensive line, it's going to help us."

The weekend yielded other contributors such as Cam Jurgens, Nakobe Dean, and Grant Calcaterra and saw the post-draft signing of Reed Blankenship, an integral part of their defense.

Additional acquisitions from the 2022 Draft Weekend included wide receiver Jahan Dotson, safety Tristin McCollum, and defensive tackle Thomas Booker, contributing significantly to the Eagles' success, particularly their Super Bowl LIX victory.

Further additions from the draft by other teams, such as Darian Kinnard, Lewis Cine, and Tyrion Davis-Price, bolstered their roster. Other players like Danny Gray, Nick Muse, and Tariq Castro-Fields also contributed, mainly through the practice squad and in supporting roles.

The Eagles' current roster now boasts 16 players from their 2022 Draft moves, including five first-round picks. Roseman emphasized, "We want to keep building our roster and looking everywhere we can for upgrades."

The 2022 NFL Draft Weekend remains a crucial source of talent for the Eagles, a sentiment shared by their management as they continue to develop their team.
