The Philadelphia Eagles have added tight end Kylen Granson to their roster, signing him to a one-year contract. The deal was finalized at the NovaCare Complex on Thursday.

Granson, originally drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round, has played 62 regular-season games over four NFL seasons. During his tenure with the Colts, he made 86 receptions for 958 yards and scored one touchdown.

In an interview with PhiladelphiaEagles.com, Granson shared his enthusiasm about joining the Eagles. "Feels great to be an Eagle," he said. He cited the team's winning culture and championship aspirations as key factors in his decision to sign with Philadelphia.

Off the field, Granson is known for his interest in reading and education. He founded a literacy-based nonprofit aimed at serving underprivileged youths through various programs like STEM nights and read-along sessions. "I bring a lot of energy to the table," Granson mentioned about himself as both a player and person.

Granson also spoke about his adaptability on the field, highlighting his growth in blocking skills since transitioning from wide receiver to tight end. "I've always prided myself on being adaptable and being a Swiss Army Knife," he noted.

As he integrates into the Eagles' tight end group, Granson aims to contribute by showcasing his versatile skill set while supporting team efforts towards success.
