Fans of baseball will soon learn which top prospects will be featured in the upcoming Spring Breakout event. The roster reveal show is scheduled to air at 11 a.m. ET on Thursday, accessible via MLB Network, MLB.com, MLB.TV, and the MLB App.

The reveal show will be hosted by Matt Vasgersian and Harold Reynolds. They will be joined by MLB Pipeline's Jim Callis, Sam Dykstra, and Jonathan Mayo for prospect analysis. Current major league players Manny Machado, Vinnie Pasquantino, and Ben Joyce are also set to participate in discussing some of the standout players on the Spring Breakout rosters. Additionally, several highly-ranked prospects involved in the event will make special appearances.

MLB Spring Breakout was introduced in 2024 as a platform to highlight emerging talent during Spring Training. This year’s event features sixteen games with teams from all 30 organizations participating across the Cactus and Grapefruit Leagues from March 13-16. Due to an uneven number of clubs in Florida and Arizona, both the Cubs and Nationals will play two games each. Nine out of these sixteen games are scheduled as part of traditional doubleheaders alongside Major League Spring Training games.

Each game during Spring Breakout will be broadcast live through MLB.TV, MLB.com, and the MLB App.

Spring Breakout rosters are assembled based on MLB Pipeline's Top 30 Prospect lists for each club. Players eligible for selection have retained their rookie status for the 2025 season—those who have not exceeded specific thresholds in at-bats or innings pitched or days on an active Major League roster during regular seasons past.

Teams involved in Spring Breakout can expect rosters consisting of 23 to 27 players.

For those interested in attending any of these games live, tickets can be purchased through links available on the event’s homepage or directly via each club’s Spring Training ticket website.
