The Philadelphia Union's 2025 home opener concluded with a notable achievement in the final moments of their match against FC Cincinnati. Forward Bruno Damiani, who made his debut for both the club and league in the 69th minute, scored his first goal for the team. The 22-year-old Uruguayan received a pass from Quinn Sullivan and swiftly netted it during second-half stoppage time. This goal contributed to the Union's consecutive games with four goals at the start of the season.

Damiani joined Philadelphia Union on February 18, 2025, following a record-breaking transfer deal with Uruguayan Primera Division club Nacional.
