An MD/Alert video series focused on Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) recently included insights from two experts in the field. Robert Satriale, MD, FAASM, Clinical Assistant Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, contributed his expertise by discussing the FDA's approval of Tirzepatide as a treatment for OSA.

In addition to Dr. Satriale's commentary, Maria Elena Vega Sanchez, MD, Professor of Clinical Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Katz School of Medicine, shared her perspectives on a study that highlights the benefits of a multidisciplinary approach. This approach is said to improve patient access to surgical treatments for OSA.

The contributions from these two medical professionals aim to provide deeper understanding and potential advancements in the treatment and management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
