The Philadelphia Flyers are set to face the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center, marking their second and final meeting of the season. The game will be broadcasted on NBCSP and aired on 97.5 The Fanatic with an online simulcast available.

In their previous encounter on October 15, the Flyers initially led with two power play goals by rookie Matvei Michkov. However, Edmonton rallied back, eventually winning in overtime thanks to Leon Draisaitl's decisive goal.

Returning from a break, the Flyers aim to field a full lineup after dealing with injuries and work visa issues. Owen Tippett, Ryan Poehling, Rasmus Ristolainen, and Egor Zamula are all cleared to play.

Jakob Pelletier is expected to make his debut for the Flyers following a trade that brought him from Calgary along with Andrei Kuzmenko. Pelletier is known for his competitive playstyle and has been active in both NHL and AHL games this season.

Travis Konecny and Travis Sanheim return after participating in Canada's championship win at the 4 Nations Face-Off alongside Connor McDavid. Both players are anticipated to be in Saturday's lineup.

Flyers goaltender Samuel Ersson recently delivered a strong performance for Team Sweden at the 4 Nations Face-Off. Meanwhile, Edmonton's Stuart Skinner returns rested after struggling before the break.

Noah Cates is tasked with containing McDavid during Saturday’s game. Despite not scoring in recent games, Cates remains integral due to his consistent two-way performances since mid-November.
