The 2025 4 Nations Face-Off is set to take place from February 12 to February 20 in Montreal and Boston. This tournament marks the first best-on-best event since the World Cup of Hockey in 2016, featuring NHL players from Finland, Sweden, Canada, and the United States. Each team comprises 13 forwards, seven defensemen, and three goalies.
The competition will follow a round-robin format with NHL rules. Points are awarded as follows: three for a regulation win, two for an overtime or shootout win, one for an overtime or shootout loss, and zero for a regulation loss. The top two teams will advance to the final game.
Games are scheduled at Bell Centre in Montreal and TD Garden in Boston. The tournament kicks off on February 12 with Canada facing Sweden at Bell Centre and concludes with the championship game on February 20.
Team rosters feature prominent NHL players such as Sidney Crosby (Canada), Sebastian Aho (Finland), Viktor Arvidsson (Sweden), and Jack Eichel (United States). Adjustments have been made to accommodate player withdrawals due to injuries or personal reasons.
