The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum has revealed the cap logos for the inductees of the Class of 2025. The selections are as follows: Dick Allen will be represented by the Phillies; Dave Parker by the Pirates; CC Sabathia by the Yankees; Ichiro Suzuki by the Mariners; and Billy Wagner by the Astros.
Dick Allen, elected through the Classic Baseball Era Committee, played for five teams over 15 years, with nine seasons spent at Philadelphia. During his tenure with the Phillies, he achieved 204 out of his total 351 home runs.
Dave Parker's career spanned 19 MLB seasons, including 11 with Pittsburgh. He won two National League batting titles and was named MVP in 1978 while playing for the Pirates. Parker also contributed to their victory in the 1979 World Series.
CC Sabathia pitched for three teams across his career, spending his last 11 seasons with New York. He led MLB in wins in both 2009 and 2010, during which time he played a crucial role in securing a World Series win for the Yankees.
Ichiro Suzuki dedicated 14 out of his 19 MLB seasons to Seattle, where he was selected for ten All-Star Games and earned numerous accolades including Rookie of the Year and MVP in 2001.
Billy Wagner began his major league journey with Houston after being drafted in their first round in 1993. Over nine seasons with them, he achieved three All-Star Game selections and recorded over thirty saves five times.
The formal induction into Cooperstown will take place on July 27 as part of Hall of Fame Weekend from July 25-28. The ceremony will start at 1:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on MLB Network.
Each plaque honoring these athletes will be presented before their speeches during induction day. The plaques encapsulate each player's career accomplishments within approximately ninety words and include an artist rendering along with team affiliations.
The weekend will also honor Thomas Boswell with the BBWAA Career Excellence Award and Tom Hamilton with Ford C. Frick Award on July 26th alongside various events like family programming and podcasts featuring inductees at Doubleday Field.
Over fifty previous Hall of Famers are anticipated to return to commemorate this year's class at Cooperstown.
Founded on June 12, 1939, The National Baseball Hall of Fame serves as an independent not-for-profit educational institution preserving baseball history while recognizing outstanding contributions to America's pastime.
