Head Coach Nick Sirianni held a virtual press conference on Tuesday to discuss preparations for Super Bowl LIX. While he refrained from providing specific details, he mentioned that there would be minor adjustments in the team's preparation compared to their previous Super Bowl appearance two years ago.

Sirianni noted the unique nature of the Super Bowl bye week, which involves two weeks of preparation for one opponent, extensive media engagements in New Orleans, and an altered game schedule with a longer halftime break. "I think at the end of the day, it does come back to what we've talked about all year and just controlling what you can control on being in the moment of where you are," Sirianni said.

During the press conference, Sirianni provided no detailed injury updates on players Landon Dickerson, Brandon Graham, or Cam Jurgens. Regarding Graham's triceps injury sustained in late November, he commented: "We'll see how that goes and how that plays out." On Dickerson and Jurgens' injuries, he expressed respect for their perseverance: "I can't tell you how much I respect what they go through and what they put their bodies through to play this game that we love."

The Eagles aim to replicate their success in several areas since the bye week, particularly in turnover ratio. After Week 4's bye, they improved from -6 to +11 by season's end, ranking sixth best in the NFL. In playoffs action so far, they've achieved 10 takeaways without any turnovers.

Defensively, Philadelphia has excelled at forcing turnovers using a technique known as the Peanut Punch—named after former Bears cornerback Charles "Peanut" Tillman. Sirianni credited Vice President of Football Technology Patrick Dolan for creating a Peanut Punch tape for players. "You had to have talented players to be able to do both because it is a skill to tackle and take the ball away," he said. He also highlighted the effort shown towards football.
