The University of Pennsylvania baseball team is set to resume its Ivy League schedule with a three-game series against Yale in New Haven. The Quakers will play at George H.W. Bush '48 Field, starting with a doubleheader on Saturday at 11:30 a.m., followed by a game on Sunday at noon.

Penn enters the series after an unexpected break due to the cancellation of their midweek game against Saint Joseph's because of inclement weather. This marks the team's longest break this season as they prepare for a busy second half.

The Quakers recently faced Columbia, where they were swept in a three-game series in New York. They lost both games on Saturday and narrowly missed a comeback in Sunday's finale.

Wyatt Henseler continues his pursuit of records, needing just four more RBIs to become the Ivy League's all-time leader. He also aims to surpass Penn's career record for base hits.

Offensively, most of Penn's lineup maintains batting averages around .300 or higher. Davis Baker leads with a .347 average and tops the Ivy League in hits. Connor Chavez and Ryan Taylor have added home runs recently, while Henseler leads the conference with 12 home runs and 28 RBIs.

On the mound, freshman Marty Coyne has been making appearances as Penn's traditional mid-week starter. Carson Ozmer and Eli Trop have been reliable options from the bullpen this season.

Yale comes into the series having won three of their last four games, including two victories over Princeton last weekend. Their offense is led by Davis Henson, who boasts a .325 batting average with several extra-base hits.

In terms of pitching, Reid Easterly stands out with 41 strikeouts over 40.2 innings pitched for Yale.

Historically, Yale leads the all-time series against Penn but recent matchups have been evenly split. Last year, Penn took two out of three games from Yale.

Fans can watch all three games streamed live on ESPN+ or follow along with live stats online.
