The Philadelphia Union and Malamut Law are joining forces to support the GivingTuesday movement by organizing a donation drive for the unhoused in South Jersey. This initiative encourages community members to contribute giving bags filled with essential items aimed at improving hygiene, nourishment, and cold prevention during winter.

Participants can drop off their completed giving bags at two locations: the Union Power Plant Lobby in Chester, PA, or the Malamut Law office in Cherry Hill, NJ. The collection period runs from November 18th to November 26th. A donation bin will be available in each lobby, along with a sheet for donors to record their contributions.

Each giving bag should contain at least eight of the following items: socks, winter hat, gloves, scarf, toothbrush and toothpaste, combs or brushes, mints, lip balm, hand sanitizer, body wipes, medicine, nutritional snacks, and Ziploc bags.

As an incentive for participation, fans who donate will earn U-Serve hours. Donating between one and five bags will earn one hour; six to ten bags will result in two hours; while donations exceeding ten bags will provide the maximum of three U-Serve hours.
