The University of Pennsylvania's baseball team achieved a doubleheader sweep against Yale on Saturday at George H.W. Bush '48 Field in New Haven, Connecticut. The Quakers secured victories with scores of 7-4 and 9-6, improving their record to 13-13 overall and 5-3 in Ivy League play. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs fell to 7-16 overall and 3-5 in conference games.

Freshman Gavin Collins was instrumental for Penn, going 4-for-8 with four doubles and an RBI across both games. Asa Wilson contributed by hitting .429 with four RBIs. Ryan Taylor and Davis Baker each added three hits.

In the first game, Wyatt Henseler hit his league-leading 13th home run of the season, tying the Ivy League's all-time lead for career RBIs at 164. Cole Zaffiro pitched effectively over 6.2 innings, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out six batters. Carson Ozmer closed out the game to earn his third save.

Thomas Shurtleff claimed his first win of the season in Game 2 after pitching a scoreless inning of relief. Eli Trop recorded his second save with two shutout innings.

During Game 1, Penn took an early lead thanks to Henseler's three-run homer in the first inning. The Quakers maintained their advantage throughout despite Yale scoring late runs.

In Game 2, Penn responded to an early deficit by scoring multiple runs in subsequent innings to secure victory once again. Baker came close to hitting for the cycle and drove in four runs.
