Philadelphia Union II looks to cap off the month in style as they head to Ohio for a battle with Columbus Crew 2 on Sunday evening. The Eastern Conference clash is scheduled to start at 6 PM and will be available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

Union II aims to recover after their three-game winning streak ended in a narrow defeat against New York City FC II. Eddy Davis scored his 10th goal of the campaign, continuing his pursuit of the Golden Boot, but the youthful side saw the home team rally back with two late goals to secure the win.

Sunday's contest marks the second meeting between these teams in 2024. In their previous encounter in early June, Union II secured a 3-1 victory. CJ Olney and Sal Olivas were instrumental, combining for all three goals. Olivas scored the first brace of his career with two first-half goals set up by Olney, who also added a goal just before halftime.

Columbus Crew 2 currently occupies fifth place in the table with 30 points from 18 league matches. Since their loss to Union II in June, they have remained unbeaten in regulation over seven games, scoring multiple goals in all but two matches. They are coming off a commanding 6-1 victory over FC Cincinnati 2, where four different players scored, including substitute Chase Adams who netted twice to lead the club with seven goals overall.
