Hector Perez and Nina Beverly recognized with TFP C.A.R.E.S Award for outstanding contributions

Hector Perez and Nina Beverly, RN, have received the February 2025 Temple Faculty Physicians C.A.R.E.S Award. The award recognizes individuals who embody qualities such as compassion, advocacy, respect, excellence, and service. Perez and Beverly were chosen for their significant contributions to clinical and administrative functions.

Nina Beverly works as a Registered Nurse in TMS-Pulmonary-Critical Care, while Hector Perez serves as the Lead Comprehensive Scheduler for the Patient Access Team. Both individuals were nominated by their peers and endorsed by the leadership of Temple Faculty Physicians.

Hector Perez's nomination highlighted his dedication to patients and his respectful and patient attitude. "Hector displays respect and patience with his coworkers and while helping patients. He goes above and beyond to ensure that every appointment he schedules fits with what the patient can attend. He is very attentive and gives patients his undivided attention. They always ask, ‘Where is Hector?’"

Nina Beverly's nomination emphasized her work ethic and commitment to patient care. "Nina is loyal, dedicated, and an advocate for both her patients and colleagues. She is committed to ensuring that her work is thoroughly completed to avoid any delays in patient care. Nina also demonstrates a strong work ethic by ensuring that her colleagues, both new and experienced, properly follow protocols to maintain patient safety. Nina is a wonderful person, a great asset to the department, and an inspiration to both colleagues and patients."
