Philadelphia Union holds Orlando City SC to a scoreless draw at Subaru Park

Philadelphia Union faced Orlando City SC in a goalless match at Subaru Park on Saturday night. Despite Philadelphia's dominant performance with 20 shots, they were unable to breach Orlando's defense, resulting in a 0-0 draw.

In the first half, Union outshot Orlando 10-1 but failed to score. Even with another ten shots in the second half, the home team could not find the net. The Union's goalkeeper, Andre Blake, ensured his 80th MLS shutout and his second of the 2025 season by making three saves.

The Union plan to visit New York City FC at Citi Field on Saturday, April 12. The game can be watched on Apple TV at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The match featured several cautions. Robin Jansson, Luis Muriel, Joran Gerbet, and Dagur Thorhallsson from Orlando City, alongside Bruno Damiani, Nathan Harriel, Quinn Sullivan, and Indiana Vassilev from Philadelphia, were booked during the game. In the final minutes, Pedro Gallese from Orlando City also received a caution.

The lineup for the Union included Andre Blake, Frankie Westfield, Ian Glavinovich, Jakob Glesnes, Nathan Harriel, Jovan Lukic, Danley Jean Jacques, Quinn Sullivan, Daniel Gazdag, Bruno Damiani, and Tai Baribo. For Orlando, Pedro Gallese, Alex Freeman, Robin Jansson, Rodrigo Schlegel, David Brekalo, Marco Pašalić, Joran Gerbet, Dagur Thorhallsson, Iván Angulo, Martín Ojeda, and Luis Muriel made the starting eleven.

Andre Blakes's shutout was a noteworthy achievement in the match according to Philadelphia Union Communications.
