The Philadelphia Flyers secured a 2-1 victory over the Nashville Predators on Monday at the Wells Fargo Center, going undefeated in their three-game homestand. Flyers goaltender Ivan Fedotov delivered a noteworthy performance, stopping 28 shots, while the skaters in front blocked 25 attempts.

In the first period, the Flyers' Travis Konecny had a close opportunity, but Predators goaltender Justus Annunen made the save. The Flyers went on the power play early due to a tripping penalty by Nashville's Brady Skjei, yet failed to capitalize. By the end of the scoreless first period, the Flyers led in shots on goal, tallying eight to Nashville's seven.

The Flyers advanced early in the second period. After receiving a saucer pass from Matvei Michkov, Konecny assisted Ryan Poehling in scoring his 11th goal of the season at 8:50. However, Nashville tied the game at 13:14 when Zachary L'Heureux scored, capitalizing on assists from Michael McCarron and Skjei. Shortly after, the Flyers regained the lead when Jamie Drysdale scored his seventh goal of the season at 13:48.

During the third period, Fedotov maintained the Flyers' lead with several critical saves, including one from point-blank range. Nashville pulled Annunen for an extra attacker in the final minutes, but the Flyers held on, bolstered by clutch play from their defenders.

Flyers' Matvei Michkov now boasts a six-game point streak with 11 points, while Konecny has accumulated eight points in his last six games. The Flyers' special teams saw mixed success, going 0-for-1 on the power play, but successfully killing off a single penalty against the Predators.

Garnet Hathaway returned to the Flyers lineup after recovering from an upper-body injury. He replaced Nicolas Deslauriers, who was scratched alongside Rasmus Ristolainen and Aleksei Kolosov.

The game witnessed the Flyers' lines come together effectively, with the Michkov-Couturier-Konecny line contributing significantly to the team's offense and strategic play throughout the match.
