Philadelphia Union faced a narrow defeat against Inter Miami CF at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Saturday night, with the final score standing at 2-1. Despite the loss, the Union reached a club milestone by scoring seven goals in their first three road games of the season.

Robert Taylor from Inter Miami CF scored the first goal in the 23rd minute, followed by Lionel Messi, who doubled the team's tally in the 57th minute. Philadelphia Union's Daniel Gazdag responded with a volley goal in the 80th minute, assisted by midfielder Quinn Sullivan.

Philadelphia Union now returns to Subaru Park for their next match against Orlando City SC on Saturday, April 5. The team shares the Eastern Conference lead in wins with Inter Miami and is tied for second place overall with 12 points. Both Philadelphia and Inter Miami lead the league with 13 goals, sharing the spot with Chicago and Orlando.

Quinn Sullivan achieved two significant milestones during the match. He is tied for first in MLS assists with four this season. Goalkeeper Andre Blake recorded his 250th MLS start for the Union. Midfielder Daniel Gazdag reached 90 goals/assists in the MLS, while forward Chris Donovan earned his first assist of the season.
