Infection Control Manager Daniel Popkin has been recognized with the Service Excellence Award at TUH-Main Campus. This accolade acknowledges his significant contributions to key projects, consistent performance, and effective collaboration with colleagues.

An excerpt from his nomination highlights Popkin's dedication since joining the team nearly three years ago. "Dan joined our team nearly three years ago, and has consistently gone above and beyond to help drive our initiatives," it states. His involvement in the Employee Flu Vaccination Campaign and efforts in organizing a Central Line Associated Bloodstream Infection Reduction Group have been particularly noted.

Popkin is praised for his ability to foster positive relationships within the workplace. "He also has an awesome rapport with his colleagues and embodies the pillars of ‘Best Experience,’ ‘Best People,’ and ‘Best Finance!’" reads another part of the nomination.

His role within the Infection Prevention team is described as exemplary, with efforts that surpass expectations. The nomination concludes by recognizing his work towards improving departmental processes and enhancing patient safety at Temple University Hospital: "I would like to recognize him for all the work he’s done to improve our departmental processes, and to make patients at Temple University Hospital safer."
