Philadelphia Union faces St. Louis CITY SC in historic first meeting

Philadelphia Union is set to conclude its March homestand with a historic match against St. Louis CITY SC at Subaru Park, marking the first encounter between the two clubs. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 PM ET and will be available for viewing on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV and can also be streamed on the 97.5 The Fanatic app and website.

The Union's starting lineup includes Andrew Rick as goalkeeper, with Kai Wagner, Ian Glavinovich, Jakob Glesnes, Nathan Harriel, and Olivier Mbaizo in defense. The midfield consists of Jovan Lukic, Quinn Sullivan, and Indiana Vassilev, while Mikael Uhre and Bruno Damiani lead the attack.

On the bench are Oliver Semmle, Isaiah LeFlore, Nick Pariano, CJ Olney, Jeremy Rafanello, Cavan Sullivan, David Vazquez, Chris Donovan, and Stas Korzeniowski.

"Union homegrown Nick Pariano makes the matchday roster for the first time in his MLS career after signing a short-term agreement to be eligible for selection for today's match," noted the club. Similarly making their debut on the roster is "Union II forward Stas Korzeniowski" who also signed a short-term agreement.

This match sees Philadelphia Union employing a new starting lineup featuring six changes due to international call-ups and a red card suspension. Andrew Rick returns as goalkeeper for his seventh career start after last playing in league action against New York City FC on September 23rd. Veteran center back Jakob Glesnes marks his 155th career appearance in MLS with this game.

Notably making their first starts for Philadelphia are Ian Glavinovich, Indiana Vassilev, and Bruno Damiani. Additionally, Nathan Harriel and Olivier Mbaizo make their season debuts in the starting lineup.
