The University of Pennsylvania football team is set to begin spring practice on Sunday as they prepare for the 2025 season. The Quakers concluded their 2024 season with a 4-6 overall record, achieving victories against Colgate, Bucknell, Brown, and Cornell. In Ivy League play, they ended with a 2-5 record, tying for sixth place alongside Brown and Princeton.

The team will see the return of six out of ten All-Ivy selections from last year. These include first-team offensive lineman Netinho Olivieri and second-teamers William Bergin (OL), Jared Richardson (WR), Carter Janki (DL), John Lista (LB), and Julien Stokes (RS).

Changes in the coaching staff have been made following the offseason departure of running backs coach Jordan Johnson. David Josephson has transitioned to wide receivers coach from his previous role coaching tight ends in 2024 and will also take on pass-game coordinator duties. Rick Ulrich, who has long served as wide receivers coach, will now be responsible for coaching the running backs.

Spring practices are scheduled to take place at Franklin Field every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday until the Penn Spring Game on April 18. The team's annual awards banquet is planned for April 19.
