Brandon Graham, a prominent figure in the Philadelphia Eagles' history, has announced his retirement from the NFL. The announcement was made during a press conference at the NovaCare Complex on Tuesday. Graham reflected on his career, expressing satisfaction with how it unfolded and acknowledging the support he received from fans and the organization.

"I could not be happier with the way my career played out, the love I've gotten, and the success the Eagles have had as an organization," said Graham before making his official announcement. "For real, it has been a dream come true."

Graham's journey began as a first-round draft pick in 2010. He concluded his playing days on a high note by participating in Super Bowl LIX against Kansas City despite dealing with a ruptured left triceps that required surgery. His perseverance and dedication were hallmarks of his career.

"Walking into the NovaCare Complex every day, man, I love it and I'm still gonna be there," Graham stated. "It's home away from home for me."

Throughout his 15 seasons with the Eagles, Graham became one of the most celebrated players in franchise history. He tied for most seasons played and holds records for regular-season games (206) and playoff contests (20). A second-team All-Pro in 2016 and Pro Bowl selection in 2020, he ranks third in franchise history with 76.5 quarterback sacks.

Graham's legacy includes three Super Bowl appearances and victories in Super Bowls LII and LIX. In Super Bowl LII against New England, he executed a memorable strip-sack of Tom Brady that contributed to Philadelphia's first Lombardi Trophy win.

"It felt great and I know what it meant for the team," Graham recalled about that pivotal play. "That's what you want -- to step up and make that big play at that moment."

Off the field, Graham's contributions to the community were acknowledged through nominations for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award in 2022 and 2024.

Jeffrey Lurie, Chairman and CEO of the Eagles, praised Graham: "Without question, Brandon Graham is the embodiment of everything you would want in a Philadelphia Eagle... Make no mistake; he was also a tough, physical, and talented player who has played an integral role in our success over the years."

Lurie continued to highlight Graham's character: "In addition to being one of our all-time greats on the field... Of all things that make him special though, it is Brandon's character and gracious nature that have always stood out to me most."

Graham expressed gratitude for ending his career with another Super Bowl victory: "It meant everything to get back (from injury) and play in that game... Two Super Bowls. Going out like that... But I ain't going anywhere! I'm still gonna be around."

As he steps away from professional football as a player, Brandon Graham leaves behind an enduring legacy both on and off the field.
