Philadelphia Union has announced the renewal of its partnership with Chick-fil-A Greater Philadelphia Area, extending through the 2027 MLS season. The collaboration continues to designate Chick-fil-A as the official chicken sandwich provider for Philadelphia Union, Subaru Park, and WSFS Bank Sportsplex. A new in-game promotion titled "Corner Kicken for Chicken" will be introduced during the 2025 season.
"We’re excited to extend our partnership with local Chick-fil-A Owner - Operators for another two seasons," stated Charlie Slonaker, Chief Revenue Officer of Philadelphia Union. He emphasized that this relationship allows them to deliver engaging promotions like "Corner Kicken for Chicken" which connects with fans both on and off the field.
Sam Class, a local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A East Norriton and Chick-fil-A Audubon, expressed enthusiasm about continuing the partnership: "We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with the Philadelphia Union through 2027. We look forward to rewarding fans with complimentary Nuggets and cheering on The Union together!"
The "Corner Kicken for Chicken" promotion rewards fans when a goal is scored from a corner kick. Fans can receive offers ranging from five to twelve nuggets based on how many goals are scored from corner kicks in a game. These offers are available on the app until 10:30 a.m. ET the next business day and redeemable at participating locations in Greater Philadelphia for three business days following a qualifying goal.
Chick-fil-A will also sponsor six mini youth soccer matches at Subaru Park, providing participants with T-shirts and meal coupons. Additionally, they will maintain their role as presenting sponsor for pre-and-post game interviews.
