Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital has celebrated a year of recognizing outstanding team members through the DAISY and Mountain Laurel Awards. The DAISY Award, created in memory of J. Patrick Barnes, honors nurses for their clinical skills and compassion. Meanwhile, the Mountain Laurel Award acknowledges staff who provide exceptional care to patients and families.
The hospital will soon replace the Mountain Laurel Award with the Daisy Foundation's "Daisy Bee" program, which will recognize non-nursing colleagues supporting patient care.
