The Philadelphia Eagles are preparing for the NFC Championship Game against the Washington Commanders. As they gear up for this crucial match, attention is focused on quarterback Jalen Hurts and tight end Dallas Goedert.

Jalen Hurts has been noted for his ability to extend plays, even if it sometimes results in sacks. Head Coach Nick Sirianni appreciates Hurts' skill in creating opportunities both with his arm and legs. "He has this unique ability to get out of trouble and create plays," said Sirianni. The coach emphasized that while Hurts may take some sacks, his overall contributions through rushing yards and extended plays have been significant. Sirianni added, "Hurts gives us a chance to win every single week."

Tight end Dallas Goedert has also been a key player during the playoffs, recording eight receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown. His performance in both receiving and run blocking has been crucial for the team, particularly aiding Saquon Barkley's success in the postseason. Sirianni praised Goedert's knack for making impactful plays: "He has a knack to make plays in big moments, that's for sure." Despite missing seven games due to injuries during the regular season, Goedert's presence in the postseason is highly valued by the Eagles.

Goedert had previously recorded five catches for 61 yards in a Week 11 victory over the Commanders but was sidelined with a knee injury during their December rematch.
