Philadelphia Union has arrived in Marbella, Spain, after a lengthy journey from the East Coast of the United States. The team exchanged freezing temperatures for milder weather as they began their training camp.

The squad includes 29 players, featuring experienced members such as captain Alejandro Bedoya and new additions like Ian Glavinovich, a 23-year-old center back from Argentina. Promising young talents Neil Pierre, Sal Olivas, and CJ Olney are also part of the group.

Midfielder Jack McGlynn is absent due to his call-up to the United States Men's National Team's January camp in Florida. He is expected to join the team later during their stay in Spain.

Upon arrival in Marbella, the team quickly engaged in activities. Within three hours of checking into their hotel, they headed to the beach for a session aimed at recovering from travel fatigue.

The first official training under newly-appointed Head Coach Bradley Carnell is scheduled for Wednesday at Marbella Football Center. Carnell addressed the team with an introductory speech to set expectations for the upcoming weeks.
