Head Coach Nick Sirianni announced on Monday that linebacker Nakobe Dean will be out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury sustained during the Wild Card victory against the Green Bay Packers. Following this development, Executive Vice President/General Manager Howie Roseman and his team made several roster adjustments, as reported by the Eagles on Tuesday.

The team has placed Nakobe Dean on Injured Reserve. In response, they signed wide receiver Parris Campbell to the active roster, added wide receiver Elijah Cooks and linebacker Nick Morrow to the practice squad, and released wide receiver Joseph Ngata from the practice squad.

Dean played 15 regular-season games in 2024, achieving career-high stats with 128 tackles, nine for loss, three sacks, 19 quarterback hits and pressures, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, and an interception. He started his first playoff game last Sunday but exited after six tackles.

"Nakobe's had a great year. As you guys saw the reports, he's going to be out and we sure will miss him. He's made big plays all year long. The one that comes to everyone's mind is going to be the interception against Jacksonville to seal the game, but he had a couple plays in yesterday's game that are just outstanding that set the tone of how physical we were going to play," commented Head Coach Nick Sirianni on Monday.

Parris Campbell has been part of both the Eagles' practice squad and active roster throughout this season. During regular season games, he recorded six catches for 30 yards and a touchdown over 140 offensive snaps. He debuted in playoffs last Sunday as a practice squad elevation assisting special teams.

Elijah Cooks joins the practice squad at age 26. The second-year receiver from San Jose State initially entered NFL through Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted rookie free agent post-2023 draft. Last year he participated in nine games accumulating three receptions totaling 38 yards; this season he appeared twice for Jacksonville.
