Concluding a four-game homestand, the Philadelphia Flyers will host the Florida Panthers on Monday evening. The game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EDT at the Wells Fargo Center and will be televised on NBCSP, with radio coverage on 97.5 The Fanatic and an online simulcast on Flyers Radio 24/7.

This match marks the finale of the 2024-25 season series between these teams, with the Flyers having lost both previous encounters against Florida this season. On November 9, they fell in a shootout in Sunrise, while December 5 saw them lose after battling back to tie the game at home.

The Flyers currently hold a record of 9-11-1 at home and have shown mixed performances recently. They are coming off a significant win over Anaheim but suffered a loss to Dallas prior to that. Meanwhile, the Panthers are performing well on the road with a record of 13-7-1 and are looking to recover from an overtime loss to Boston.

Key points for Monday's game include maintaining focus against Florida's strong offense and managing puck support effectively. The Flyers' goaltender Samuel Ersson is returning from injury, which has been a concern throughout their season. Owen Tippett is expected to perform against his former team after showing promise in recent games.

Forwards will need to coordinate with defensemen joining attacks if they hope to challenge Florida effectively. Special teams performance could also be crucial as both power play and penalty kill units face challenges against each other’s strengths.
