Philadelphia Union has released its 2025 preseason schedule, which includes a return to Clearwater, Florida, and a first-time trip to Spain for friendly matches. The team will play against SK Slavia Prague on January 19 and Aarhus Gymnastikforening on January 26 at the Marbella Football Center.
The Union is set to leave for Marbella on January 13 after completing medical checks and physicals. They will return to Philadelphia on January 27 before heading to Clearwater for their 11th consecutive preseason on February 2.
Tim McDermott, President of Philadelphia Union, expressed gratitude for the team's partnership with Visit St. Pete-Clearwater. "We’re incredibly grateful for our continued partnership with Visit St. Pete-Clearwater as we mark our 11th preseason in Clearwater, Florida," he said. "We are very fortunate to be able to train in a consistently welcoming and vibrant setting that offers the resources required to best prepare the team for a successful season ahead."
In Clearwater, the Union will face FC Cincinnati on February 7 at Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex. The time of the match is yet to be announced.
The Union's regular season will commence on February 22 with an away game against Orlando City SC at Inter & Co Stadium.
