The Philadelphia Eagles have made notable roster changes, bringing defensive back Lewis Cine into their fold from the Buffalo Bills' practice squad. This move reunites Cine with familiar surroundings in Philadelphia, where he first appeared during his NFL debut.

Cine's journey to the Eagles began as a first-round draft pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2022, following a standout college career at the University of Georgia. His time with the Vikings saw him participate in ten games over two seasons before transitioning to the Bills' practice squad. At Georgia, Cine earned recognition as a first-team All-SEC player and was named third-team All-American in 2021. His collegiate career concluded on a high note as he secured Defensive MVP honors in Georgia's National Championship victory against Alabama.

In addition to signing Cine, the Eagles have opened a 21-day practice window for defensive tackle Byron Young, who has been recovering from a hamstring injury sustained earlier in the season. Young joined the Eagles after being claimed off waivers from the Las Vegas Raiders at the end of August. Despite being sidelined this season, Young's potential remains evident from his rookie year performance with the Raiders, where he recorded four tackles across six games.

Young's college career was marked by consistent contributions at Alabama, where he played in 54 games and helped lead his team to win the 2020 National Championship.
