Brandon Graham, a seasoned NFL player with the Philadelphia Eagles, has been nominated for the 2024 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. This award is presented by Nationwide and recognizes players who excel both on and off the field, highlighting their community service efforts.

Graham expressed his gratitude for being honored again: "It's a blessing to be honored for the second time as the Eagles' Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year." He acknowledged the support from his team, city, and fanbase, which motivates him to serve the community.

Jeffrey Lurie, Chairman and CEO of the Philadelphia Eagles, praised Graham's dedication: "For 15 years, Brandon has proudly served as a model representative for the Eagles, the City of Philadelphia, and the National Football League."

Throughout his career, Graham has made significant contributions both on and off the field. His memorable strip-sack against Tom Brady in Super Bowl LII helped secure a victory for the Eagles. Despite suffering a season-ending injury this year, he remains an influential leader within his team.

Lane Johnson spoke highly of Graham's leadership qualities: "I'm devastated for him because he's probably one of the best leaders I've been around." Johnson highlighted Graham's mentorship role to younger players.

Off-field contributions include founding Team Graham Fund with his wife Carlyne. The fund supports various organizations in Detroit through mentoring programs and aid to needy families. Additionally, Graham is involved with nonprofits like March of Dimes and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts noted Graham's commitment to others: "His pursuit has been to be his best self but really be the best teammate he can be."

The nomination comes with potential donations to charities chosen by nominees. Fans can participate in Nationwide's Charity Challenge via social media voting until January 6.
