The Arizona Fall League (AFL) showcased several standout performances in its third week, with a mix of hitters and pitchers making notable contributions.

Drew Gilbert, an outfielder for Scottsdale and ranked as the Mets' No. 3 prospect, was among seven players to hit two home runs this week. Gilbert also achieved a .526 on-base percentage and a 1.312 OPS after a slow start earlier in the fall.

Niko Kavadas from Mesa demonstrated his power by hitting two home runs this week, adding to his total of three homers in ten games since returning to the AFL. Kavadas is noted for having already hit a big league home run.

Moises Ballesteros of Mesa finished second in total bases among AFL hitters this week. He contributed significantly with five hits, including two home runs.

Caleb Durbin from Salt River reached base in more than half of his plate appearances due to his disciplined approach at the plate. Durbin also led the league with eight stolen bases during the week.

Josue Briceño continued his impressive form for Scottsdale by leading the AFL in multiple categories such as homers and slugging percentage. This week he added two more home runs to his tally.

Austin Deming made an impact for Surprise by driving in seven runs over the course of the week, including crucial performances on Friday and Saturday where he hit key home runs.

Bryce Eldridge concluded his AFL stint on a high note for Scottsdale with solid hitting performances, including another homer that marked an impressive end to his season across four different levels before joining the Fall League.

Andrew Pintar led all players in hits this week while batting .440 for Peoria. He also hit his first homer of the fall season after being acquired by Miami from Arizona at the trade deadline.

DJ Gladney from Glendale recorded one of the most remarkable feats of the week with a powerful home run measured at 117.2 mph exit velocity, traveling 468 feet—one of only few such instances even within Major League Baseball standards.

On the pitching side, Jose Acuna delivered four scoreless innings for Glendale against Peoria, achieving seven strikeouts while managing control issues that had affected him previously.

Connor Phillips impressed again for Glendale following an inconsistent regular season. In relief work during Thursday's game against Salt River, he pitched four scoreless innings without conceding any walks or earned runs.

Andrew Painter's return post-surgery was marked by three effective innings where he allowed just one hit without any runs scored against him during Glendale’s win over Salt River on Thursday night.
