With their final pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Dylan McMahon from NC State. Chosen as the 190th overall pick in the sixth round, McMahon brings notable athleticism and versatility to the team.

At the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, McMahon recorded a short-shuttle time of 4.33 seconds, marking the fastest time for an interior offensive lineman drafted in the last decade. Additionally, his 3-cone drill time of 7.22 was surpassed by only two other drafted interior linemen over the past ten years, including current Eagles' center Cam Jurgens who posted a time of 7.19 in 2022.

"I expected to test well," said McMahon. "I knew that the combine was going to be a big thing for me because I am an athletic offensive lineman. Being able to show my athletic abilities there was going to be huge for me. I was blessed to go out there and perform the way I did. It was an amazing experience."

During his college career at NC State, McMahon allowed just one sack on 361 pass block snaps in 2023, according to Pro Football Focus. He played in a total of 49 games with 44 starts across various positions including center, right guard, and left guard.

"Moving to center last year was what was best for our team," stated McMahon. "I like to be able to have that versatility so I can plug and play whatever they need me. This year they needed me at center, and I love playing center; that's my favorite position to play. Just being able to plug and play anywhere that the coaches need or anyway I can fill to help out is what I pride myself in."

McMahon's family also has ties to football; his brother Ryan was an All-ACC center at Florida State and later signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent.
