The University of Pennsylvania baseball team is set to begin its postseason journey in the Ivy League Tournament, aiming for a second consecutive NCAA regional berth. The tournament will take place at Columbia's Robertson Field at Satow Stadium in New York City.

Penn, seeded fourth, will face top-seeded Columbia on Friday at 3 p.m. This game is part of a seven-game, double-elimination tournament that also includes Princeton and Cornell. Despite regular-season losses to these teams, Penn defeated Columbia and Princeton last year to win the title.

In 2023, Penn became the inaugural Ivy League Tournament champion by winning all three games. They hosted the tournament at Tommy Lasorda Field at Meiklejohn Stadium and secured victories against Columbia, Harvard, and Princeton.

Jarrett Pokrovsky was named Most Outstanding Player in the first tournament. He was joined on the All-Tournament team by Davis Baker, Wyatt Henseler, and Brian Zeldin.

Penn ended its regular season strongly with a dominant performance against Dartmouth. A Harvard victory over Yale helped secure their spot in this year's tournament.

Wyatt Henseler has set multiple records this season for both Penn and the Ivy League. He leads his team in several offensive categories and could break more records during the tournament.

Pitchers Cole Zaffiro and Ryan Dromboski are expected to start for Penn. The team's bullpen includes Carson Ozmer, Thomas Shurtleff, Eli Trop, and Will Tobin.

Columbia claimed the regular-season title with a strong home record. Their lineup features Griffin Palfrey as a standout player alongside several others who have contributed significantly this season.

Princeton finished second in the standings after ending their season with two losses to Columbia. Key players include Jake Koonin and Jake Bold.

Cornell enters as the third seed after early success faded later in the season. John Quinlan leads their offense while Ethan Hamill and Noah Keller anchor their pitching staff.

All games will be streamed live on ESPN+ with additional coverage available through live stats.
