Senior third baseman Wyatt Henseler of the University of Pennsylvania has been unanimously named Ivy League Player of the Year. The announcement came from the conference office, highlighting a successful season for Henseler and his team. Alongside him, five other Penn players received All-Ivy accolades.

Henseler is only the seventh player in Penn's history to receive this honor and the first since Tim Graul in 2016. He is also just the fifth player in Ivy League history to be a unanimous Player of the Year honoree. "Henseler becomes the seventh player in program history to win the honor and first since Tim Graul in 2016," stated the announcement.

Joining Henseler on the All-Ivy list are second-teamer Cole Zaffiro and honorable mentions Ryan Dromboski, Davis Baker, Ryan Taylor, and Carson Ozmer. This marks Henseler's third consecutive selection as a first-team All-Ivy member.

In addition to his athletic achievements, Henseler was recognized as an Academic All-Ivy representative for his academic performance. The Emmaus native led several statistical categories within both his team and league-wide metrics during an impressive 2024 season.

Zaffiro served as Penn's leading pitcher throughout this season with notable performances including being named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week twice consecutively after scoreless outings against Lafayette and Brown. Dromboski returned to form late in the season with key contributions that helped secure Penn's spot in their second straight Ivy League Tournament.

Baker contributed significantly at bat while playing all 42 games alongside Henseler, hitting .304 with multiple home runs and RBIs. Sophomore Taylor had a breakout year despite early injuries but managed solid statistics both offensively and defensively across most games played.

Ozmer demonstrated versatility as both hitter and reliever for Penn; he posted commendable stats on offense while also achieving four saves as a pitcher over thirteen appearances.

The league also announced major awards for other standout players: Callan Fang from Harvard was named Pitcher of the Year; Mark Quatrani from Cornell earned Rookie of the Year; Brett Boretti from Columbia was honored as Coach of the Year.
