The University of Pennsylvania baseball team faced a tough defeat against Yale, concluding their series with a 12-3 loss on Sunday at George H.W. Bush '48 Field. Despite the setback, Penn secured the series win by taking two games from Yale on Saturday.

Ryan Taylor led Penn's offense, going 3-for-4 with an RBI in his first game batting leadoff this season. Wyatt Henseler contributed two hits, both infield singles. Davis Baker, Jarrett Pokrovsky, and Calvin Brown also added hits for the Quakers.

Danny Heintz made his return to the mound after Tommy John surgery, pitching a solid inning with a strikeout. However, Josh Katz took the loss after allowing four runs on three hits and three walks over 1.1 innings.

Penn started strong with a 3-0 lead in the second inning but was unable to maintain momentum as Yale scored 12 unanswered runs. Key moments included Tommy Martin's two-run single that gave Yale a lead they would not relinquish.

Looking ahead, Penn will play Villanova on Wednesday at Plymouth Meeting. The game will be streamed live on FloBaseball.
