Concluding their four-game road trip, the Philadelphia Flyers will face the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena. The game is set for 10:00 p.m. EDT and will be available on NBCSP, with radio coverage on 97.5 The Fanatic and an online simulcast on Flyers Radio 24/7.

This marks the first of two meetings between these teams this season. They are scheduled to meet again in March 2025 in Philadelphia. Last season, the Flyers had a record of 1-0-1 against the Kraken.

Flyers winger Owen Tippett is still seeking his first goal of the season after scoring 27 goals in the 2022-23 season and 28 goals in 2023-24. He has nine shots on goal through three games this season.

Rookie Matvei Michkov recorded his first NHL points recently, including two goals against Edmonton. Michkov and Travis Konecny are currently leading the Flyers with more than one goal each.

The "F Troop" trio—Joel Farabee, Tyson Foerster, and Morgan Frost—has been active in recent games. Farabee has points in all three matches so far this season, while Foerster scored the team's first goal of the season during their opener against Vancouver.

The Flyers' penalty kill has been strong, allowing only two goals out of fourteen opportunities, none during standard power plays. Their power play has seen some success as well with four goals from fifteen opportunities.

Under new head coach Dan Bylsma, Seattle Kraken have shown offensive potential early this season. Recently they secured a shootout victory over Minnesota but faced a shutout loss against Dallas before rebounding with a win over Nashville.
