The Philadelphia Flyers faced a challenging match against the Edmonton Oilers, ultimately falling 4-3 in overtime at Rogers Place. Despite leading twice during the game, the Flyers were unable to secure a victory.
Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl played pivotal roles for Edmonton. Though kept quiet for most of the night, they contributed significantly to the tying goal late in the third period. Draisaitl later clinched the win in overtime.

Edmonton tied it again with Connor Brown scoring off a pass from Jeff Skinner. The Flyers regained their lead through Bobby Brink's shot late in the second period.
Evan Bouchard equalized once more for Edmonton before Draisaitl secured victory with an overtime goal assisted by McDavid.
Flyers' goalie Samuel Ersson stopped 29 of 33 shots while Stuart Skinner saved 27 of 30 shots from Philadelphia.
Rookie Jett Luchanko returned to action after being rested previously, while Noah Cates was not part of Tuesday's lineup.
