The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is showcasing top baseball prospects, providing fans with a chance to watch future stars. This weekend's games feature several highly-ranked players.
On Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET, Peoria will face Mesa. The game includes five of the AFL’s seven highest-ranked prospects, such as Ethan Salas from the Padres and Colt Emerson from the Mariners. Peoria also features Leo De Vries and Cole Young, while Mesa boasts Xavier Isaac.
Later at 6:30 p.m. ET, Glendale takes on Scottsdale. Andrew Painter of the Phillies is set to pitch for Glendale after recovering from Tommy John Surgery. Painter aims to accumulate 20 innings in the AFL.
At 9:30 p.m. ET, Surprise will play against Salt River. Jac Caglianone from the Royals leads Surprise's roster and will compete against Carlos Lagrange of the Yankees.
On Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET, Mesa meets Surprise again, featuring top power-hitting first basemen Caglianone and Isaac. Chase DeLauter from Cleveland also plays for Surprise.
