Columbus Crew secures victory over Philadelphia Union in close match

Philadelphia Union faced Columbus Crew at Lower.com Field, resulting in a 3-2 loss for the visiting team. Columbus took an early lead with a goal from forward Cucho Hernandez. Philadelphia's Nate Harriel equalized in the 25th minute. Columbus regained the lead before halftime with a goal from defender Mohamed Farsi.

In the second half, Hernandez scored again in the 76th minute, increasing Columbus' advantage. Two minutes later, Philadelphia's Jack McGlynn scored to reduce the deficit to one. Despite efforts from both sides, no further goals were scored.

Philadelphia Union will next play FC Cincinnati at Subaru Park on October 19.
