The Philadelphia Flyers have made significant changes to their training camp roster, reducing it by 14 players. General Manager Daniel Brière announced the adjustments as the team prepares for the upcoming season.

Two players, Olle Lycksell and Anthony Richard, have been placed on waivers with the intention of loaning them to Lehigh Valley once they clear waivers on October 5.

Nine players have been assigned to the Flyers' American Hockey League affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. These include forwards Rodrigo Abols, Oskar Eklind, and Samu Tuomaala; defensemen Emil Andrae, Adam Ginning, Helge Grans, and Hunter McDonald; and goaltenders Aleksei Kolosov and Cal Petersen.

Cooper Marody has been returned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms under his AHL contract.

Additionally, two players have been sent back to their junior teams. Forward Denver Barkey and defenseman Oliver Bonk will return to play for the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
