After scoring the decisive goal in Philadelphia Union's 1-0 victory over St. Louis CITY, Ian Glavinovich has been recognized with his first MLS Team of the Matchday bench honors, as announced by the league on Monday.

The 23-year-old Argentine made his debut start for the Union on Saturday night, marking his second appearance for the team. His initial appearance was during the season opener against Orlando when he played for the final six minutes.

In the match against St. Louis CITY, Kai Wagner delivered a corner kick into the box in the eighth minute, allowing Glavinovich to head it past goalkeeper Ben Lundt. This goal marked Philadelphia Union as the first team to score against St. Louis in 2025, ending their unbeaten streak in the Western Conference.
