Azeez Ojulari, a former Georgia Bulldog and New York Giants linebacker, is set to reunite with several of his college teammates in Philadelphia. Ojulari will join Jalen Carter, Lewis Cine, Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, Kelee Ringo, and Nolan Smith on the Eagles' roster.

"It's amazing having that chemistry and brotherhood with those guys," Ojulari expressed during a virtual press conference at the NovaCare Complex. "It's just amazing to come back here and just keep it going on."

Ojulari has a history of success on the field. As a rookie with the Giants in 2021, he set a franchise record for sacks by a rookie with eight. Over four years in the NFL, he has accumulated 37 quarterback hits, 22 sacks, and 21 tackles for loss across 46 games.

At 24 years old, Ojulari looks forward to making an impact under Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio's scheme in Philadelphia. "I'm still learning and I'm ready to compete and learn everything and continue to grow," he said. "Watching the Eagles play last year... I saw how they got after the Chiefs. So, I feel like it will be great."

Ojulari described himself as versatile: "I'm a physical guy; I don't shy away from any type of contact... I can tackle; I can rush the passer; I can bend." He added that he aims to perform at his best on the field: "Just try to do my job when I get out there... Whatever happens, happens – just trying to do it to the best of my abilities."

With his college teammates around him once more, Ojulari is eager for what lies ahead with the Eagles.
